Description
The Chirping Crickets LP- Buddy Holly- Brunswick Label 1957, 1st Press. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
This is the original jacket and record of the Chirping Crickets LP on Brunswick records as released in 1957 by Buddy Holly and the Crickets. It does not have the original inner sleeve.
The jacket has some tape on the top seem and while the spine is in tact it has some breakage which I tried to capture in the pictures. There is writing on the front and back of the jacket, please see the pictures for detail.
The record has a good amount of scratches. The first song (Oh Boy) has some skips in the first 10 seconds or so and there is a lot of background noise. Once through that the record plays pretty well. There is background noise but it isn’t overpowering. The second side also has a lot of scratches but plays through with no real issues except moderate background noise. I graded it G+ to be safe.It might be VG-, but I’m not a grader so I wanted to be conservative. I played the album today though and except for the intro to Oh Boy it plays pretty well.
