The Best Of The Clarendonians.
A superb LP of their finest Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae tunes! This is an early 90s JA reissue in Near Mint condition.
LABEL: Studio One (SOL 1122) Matrix/Runout (A side): SOLP-112-A Best of the Clarendonians-KKmastering Matrix/Runout (B side): 1122 B C.S Dodd - the Best of Clarendonians-B-KKmastering
VINYL CONDITION: NM. The vinyl has retained a beautiful gloss. Each track plays with a strong, vibrant and clear output, however, as with all JA pressings, you'd get the odd minor click. The good news is, there are VERY FEW in this pressing - and the few that are there are in the gaps between each track. The whole record has a 'new look' appearance. However, on the B-side,there are two vinyl cutting machine errors towards the end of track 1 and on the middle of track 2. The first track has curvature measuring approximately 2.5 inches. The second track has a curvature which encircles around three quarters of the single rotation.Both of these flaws are too fine to be photographed and subsequently do not interfere with the sound or flow of play in any way whatsoever.
LABEL CONDITION: EX-. Side 1 is clear. On Side 2, there is a print error on the label. (see photo 4).
ALBUM COVER CONDITION: EX+. Front and back cover have tiny traces of ring-wear. Spine is intact. Minor shelf and insertion-wear on top and bottom edging. No rips, tears or partings.
