Description
The Clash LP Vinyl - London Calling.
First UK Pressing - CBS Records - CBS CLASH 3.
Outer sleeve - (VG) - Outer sleeve is relatively nice and clean with some creasing along the sides, some creasing to the front and back in places, browning to the back of the sleeve and some water marks to the bottom of the sleeve at the back.
Inner Sleeve - (VG) - Inner sleeves are the original inners and are relatively nice and clean with some slight age spotting in places, slits to the bottom of the inner sleeves.
Vinyl - (G+ - VG(-) - VG) - Visually graded. When I mention 'scratches' or 'hairlines' or 'scuffs' these are light and cannot be felt deeply by the finger unless otherwise stated.
Vinyl has been well played. There are many, many light looking surface scratches and hairlines on all sides. I still feel that the vinyl should play ok with the right stylus / set of decks such as Technics 1210s with the chance of some light surface noise / distortion in places. There is some staining to side 3 but again I feel that with the right stylus the vinyl should play ok. I humbly feel that all vinyl should play to the standard of VG.
Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-fillerTerms of Business: If you are unhappy with your item please let me know and we will resolve it.
