For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a picture sleeve, by The Clash. Entitled London Calling, the B-side is Armagideon Time. On the CBS label, the catalogue number is CBS 8087 and the date of issue is 1979. This copy is the less common sunburst label variant (rather than white) with label rim text ending with "MADE IN ENGLAND" and matrix numbers listed below. The picture sleeve is the UK printed green front / red back variant.

Condition
The vinyl is in Very Good condition visually due to a few non-audible surface marks on the A-side.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and just a few light spindle marks.
The picture cover is in Very Good condition with a bit of edge, corner and ring wear.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
