The Clash - London Calling
(CBS CLASH 3 UK Double LP 1979)
This is a UK original double LP pressing. It has a single matt sleeve (Shorewood Packaging...). It comes with its original Lyric/ Picture Inner Sleeves. These are printed on semi buff paper.
The full matrix numbers are as follows:
Side 1: CL-1-2 A-1/ CBS S CLASH 3A (timtom) is etched in the dead wax
Side 2: CL-1-2 B-1/ CBS S CLASH 3B (timtom) is etched in the dead wax
Side 3: CL-3-4 A-3/ CBS S CLASH C3 (timtom-CBS) is etched in the dead wax
Side 4: CL-3-4 B-3/ CBS S CLASH D2 (Track 5 is Train In Vain) is etched in the dead wax
This pressing includes the uncredited track "Train In Vain". A genuine UK 1st pressing with the earliest matrix numbers. These are quite scarce.
Sleeve: Some light to very mild ringwear. There is some very minor rubbing wear to the top edge. VG++ condition.
Vinyl 1: Mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and some mild to more moderate pressing marks. VG condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near EX overall & EX in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. The Inner Sleeve is in Near EX condition. It has light ringwear & light foxing. It has no seam splits.
Vinyl 2: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen under a strong light, and some mild to more moderate pressing marks. VG+ condition. The labels are very clean & show minimal spindle wear. Plays VG+ to Near EX overall & EX in some places. There is some light crackle in some quieter places. The Inner Sleeve is in Near EX condition. It has light ringwear & light foxing. Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).
Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
