The Clash - London Calling Double LP - Epic Records E2-36328 - 1979 First US Pressing - VG+ This was the third album by The Clash, a double LP released in the US in January 1980 by Epic Records (with a 1979 copyright date). First US release included printed inner sleeves. This copy does not have promo or warning stickers as shrinkwrap was removed. There were no inserts. Can also be identified by matrix runout info. Please feel free to verify features of various release versions on Discogs if you have any concerns.

Overall condition is VG+. Vinyl is VG+ with some scuffing. Sleeve is VG with slight ring wear, some corner damage, and a small seam split. Inner sleeves are VG with small tears and seam splits. Glue on outer and inner sleeve seams is starting to unstick.

London Calling exhibits a broader range of musical styles than the Clash's previous records, applying the punk aesthetic to more traditional rock/roots music and incorporating a wider range of styles such as punk, reggae, rockabilly, ska, New Orleans R&B, pop, lounge jazz, and hard rock. Train In Vain was initially to be pressed as a "bonus" single but was included in the album itself at the last minute.
Grading is subjective, I am not a professional dealer. I try to place myself in the position of the buyer and be as accurate as possible, listing any notable defects.

Shipping in US via USPS Ground Advantage, it's a bit more expensive but you'll get it quicker with less likelihood of loss or damage. (The only shipments I've ever had "go missing" were sent Media Mail.) Shipping to other countries is via eBay International Shipping.
