  • The Import Phenomenon: CBS Records in America famously refused to release this album in 1977, claiming it was "not radio-friendly". As a result, it became the best-selling import album of all time in the United States, forcing Epic to finally compile and officially drop this modified version in July 1979.
  • The Modified Tracklist: To maximize radio appeal, the US edition actually swaps out five of the original UK tracks in favor of non-album singles and B-sides. This version includes legendary additions like "Clash City Rockers", "Complete Control", and their definitive cover of "I Fought The Law".
