The Band This is not the famous funk and ballad band known for "Brick House" and launching Lionel Richie's career. These Commodores were contemporaries of Bill Haley and played in the rockabilly style of the 1950s. Yes, this is the same song of disputed songwriting origin that Jerry Lee Lewis made famous.
The Record This record has plenty of wear but it plays well for its age. Pops but no skips. Give its relative scarcity it's a nice example. There is writing on the reverse label. It comes with an original Dot Records sleeve. Please see the photos.
