This auction is for the "Mosaic MR4-156" (with 4 Records) boxed set of " The Complete Blue Note Recordings of the Tina Brooks Quintets). Outer boxes show a bit of wear and fatigue but the book and records are in very good condition.  The set was released by Mosaic Records  in a limited edition of  7,500, this one being 5596 (see picture of book) which is long out of print.  There are 4 records in original sleeves, they do not look like they have ever been played.. All records's and sleeves are pristine, and records's play as new. This is probably the most significant set Mosaic ever issued, and it is very much in demand.  It is perfect for the Tina Brooks Quintets enthusiast, or for anyone who loves jazz and the American popular songbook.
