Description

The Concert for Bangladesh is the landmark triple‑LP box set documenting George Harrison’s historic benefit concerts at Madison Square Garden on August 1, 1971. Featuring Harrison, Bob Dylan, Ravi Shankar, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, and Eric Clapton, the event was the first major rock charity concert, raising funds and awareness for refugees of the Bangladesh Liberation War.

Co‑produced by Harrison and Phil Spector, the album captures both the Hindustani classical set led by Ravi Shankar and the electrifying rock performances that followed. It won the 1973 Grammy Award for Album of the Year and set the model for future benefit concerts like Live Aid. 

Includes 64 age full color commemorative booklet.
