Description

A 1st press of the Concert for Bangladesh on the Apple label from 1971. Triple LP. Etching 'Porky/Pecko'. The LP's come housed in an original box holder. Also included are the three original ochre coloured inner sleeves and the original 64 page booklet. So, 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we can only make out a couple of light marks on each side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet. The audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. We only detected a touch of light static right at the start of the opening concert dialogue. Other than that this is one very quiet and well preserved record. And one that you will struggle to better. Please note three of the labels have been initialled.
Cover (Vg) In very nice shape and really the only major downside, as is so often the case with these boxes, is that some of the corners have split. All surfaces are very nice and clean with no noticeable markings or defects. The box has been initialled right in the corner of the interior. The text on the spine is still fully intact, but the spine is deviating from a clean right angle as a result of the corner splits.
Inners (Ex) In super shape. No seam splits at all. Just one tiny centre tear.
Booklet (Ex+) In fantastic condition. Very lightly used. No ageing, rips, or defects.
