Description

This is a clean, wonderful and rare record. “Heart Of The Congoman” produced by Lee Scratch Perry in 1977 in the Black Ark Studios in Jamaica. This is a first pressing and it has a really amazing color misprint on the B side label.

I own two of these and sold the other last week on a different platform for $400. This one here is the nicer of the two. I’ve owned this particular record for 15 years and have played it maybe two times.

It has one forward skip on the first song on the B side “Can’t Come In”. The other record did the same skip on the same song. It’s a really clean record, a typical Jamaican pressing from the late 1970s.

I am not a record collector and don’t know much about the grading system. It’s a great looking record with a great cover. Collector quality, certainly not tired or worn out. Yet, almost 50 years old so it’s not perfect. Please look at the images, there are the most important part of this auction’s description.
