Description

Welcome to my auction. A few of you may have brought off me over the past few months as unfortunately I’ve had to start selling off my beloved collection of Soul 45’s. I’ve been a collector of Soul 45’s (specifically Northern Soul) for approximately 10 years now. I have compiled my collection from mostly digging though thrift stores, garage sales and swap meets on my free weekends and after work over the years of collecting.

The Counts – Peaches baby / Blank B-side – Unknown label (due to water damaged label) Original 10” Acetate. Record is a nice VG- condition with only light scratches on the play side. The blank b-side does have heavy scratches including a gouge, but they do not affect the play of the Peaches baby side. A sound clip has been provided below, it plays near excellent with only light pops and crackles. Only approximately ¼ of the label is still in tacked due to water damage and being stored without a sleeve. Overall it’s in decent condition and is more than playable.

Hi Guys, lots of e-mails about the authenticity of this acetate. The acetate and The Cautions 45(as did most records I had/have for sale) came from an old book/record store called Peabodys. This was around 8 years ago, circa '99-'00. As you can see the the state of the label I didn't know who or what the record was. I just recently discovered it was The Counts after researching via the internet. Thanks for looking! -Adam
