The Cramps Gravest Gravy Glow In The Dark Ltd Edition Japanese Pressing with OBI Mint
Up for grabs we have the only copy on eBay of The Cramps Gravest Gravy on Glow In The Dark vinyl Japanese pressing in a limited edition of 300 number 141 of 300. What makes this even more desirable than the super rare Glow In The Dark vinyl copies is that it is the same pressing but also includes an Obi sheet with Henry Rollins description of unearthing the recordings for this much talked about release.
This record, which really does glow in the dark (see photos), like the band's name and light bulb on the original copies of their single Human Fly comes with its original picture sleeve, die cut inner, double sided insert as per the US copies with the ultra rare double sided Japanese OBI in a resealable clear outer sleeve with the limited numbered Time Bomb records sticker. They sold out almost immediately and this is the only copy on eBay, try to find another.
These copies weren't shrink wrapped and this has only been removed from the stickered clear resealable sleeve it came in to photograph. It is totally mint in all respects and will be packed outside the pic sleeve and resealable sleeve in a poly lined sleeve and further protective sleeve to prevent any seem splits in transit and extremely well packed to arrive safely.
A total classic which is already highly collectible.

What makes the Glow In The Dark copies of the LP so unique is that the sleeve has a similar layout and colour scheme to the band's first single 'Surfin Bird' and layout to the sleeve of the band's second single 'Human Fly', whilst the Glow In The Dark aspect to the LP itself is reminiscent to the hand painting of The Cramps logo and the light bulb on the 'Human Fly' sleeve. Both singles were recorded at the same sessions as the tracks on 'Gravest Gravy', I've added pictures to illustrate this subtle homage in the design concept (this is the version of the LP that you really want) but these singles are not, I repeat not included in this auction.
