Cramps, The - Look Mom No Head! [LP]

(Cardinal Red Vinyl, import)

Big Beat    WIKAD 101    029667410113    LP    Garage Rock, Psychobilly, Punk

Cardinal red vinyl reissue of the 1991 release by the legendary garage, rock'n'roll, psychobilly, punk band.

Wooooooooaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh THE CRAMPS ARE BACK! After a brief stay in the corporate clutches of EMI, they return to the warm, if slightly sticky, embrace of Big Beat, Their concern for the soft white bit of the under-belly of that thing lying over there on the ground, remains as touching and glamourous as it always was. Dames, booze, chains, boots, two heads, sex change, and that's just the first two little numbers. Slip outa something clinging, and let Lux Interior and lggy Pop tell you all about their mini skirt blues.... but who's wearin' it? Later that same evening there was little doubt left about the dress sense- ''but Mister Interior what do you mean you wanna get in my pants???'' - she panted!!! Hardworkin' woman Poison Ivy wiggles, wobbles and shouts out, screamin' with the sound of female rockin' & rollin' guitar, plastering great swathes of reverberation all over the place. The strangeness in the Cramps. No head???? - hey don't get funny with me punk!!!

Record Grading

Mint (M): New condition.

Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect, a record with no obvious signs of wear, a perfect sleeve with no more than the most minor defects and signs of slight handling.

Very Good Plus (VG+): A very good plus record will show signs that it was played, but was taken good care of by the previous owner. Record surface may show slight signs of wear or minor scuffs that do not affect play. Picture sleeves may have slight wear, lightly turned up corners.

Very Good (VG): A very good record will show groove wear and may have a few vinyl imperfections which will affect the sound. Picture sleeves will show slightly more wear with perhaps a frayed top edge, ring wear or seam breakdown.

Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): A good record will show significant wear and /or scratches, but will play through without skipping. It will have considerable surface noise. Picture sleeves may have seam splits @ bottom & spines, tape, writing, ring wear, stickers and other defects that will start to overwhelm the item. A good or good plus item is usually acquired to fill a hole in a collection until a better copy comes along.
