The Cure: Boys Don’t Cry LP (Original Pressing)
Released in 1983 and purchased by me around that time and very well looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since. The sleeve is in excellent condition after all these years with only very minor wear and still with a fully readable spine. I have taken loads of photos so please take time to scroll through all of the photos to see the condition of the record and sleeve and any highlighted imperfections. The record was never issued in a printed inner sleeve, just a generic white paper one that was yellowing with age so some years ago it was placed in a new polylined inner to protect the vinyl and prevent static build up.
The vinyl itself still retains a nice glossy appearance with only the odd minor surface mark visible when scrutinised under a very bright LED light. I have just cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine using the award winning L’Art du Son cleaning fluid so it’s now free from dirt, dust and static and in the best possible condition for the next owner to enjoy. I have also test played both sides all the way through on my Project Carbon deck fitted with an Ortofon 2M Blue stylus. It sits perfectly flat on the turntable and it plays through beautifully with absolutely no sticking, skipping or jumping. The odd crackle and pop on some of the quieter tracks and on side B, but an excellent and punchy analogue sound with really impressive dynamics. Lovely pressing!
I will post to the buyer packaged well using cardboard so that no damage will come to it in transit
