This is an excellent 1st Pressing THE CURE - DISINTEGRATION - Vinyl LP Fiction Records [FIXH 14]1989 very high quality - this was a permanent part of my archive until I found an unopened original DMM copy. I coservatively grade my LP's and most overate theirs. This truly is a gem. I'm only selling it, because just bought an unopened copy.
[LP is NM-] 839-353-1 (UK pressing) Some slight crackle in the first few seconds of the bells intro to 'Plainsong' but no other sound flaws I can hear, plays clean throughout. No marks on the LP at all. I only put the (-) because of that few seconds of crackle. I bought about 10 copies of this LP on ebay and various sites before I found this excellent copy. Somehow everyone thinks their garbage copy is 'Near Mint'! If you're looking for a superb archive worthy copy of this excellent LP, look no further.
[Sleeve is EX-] Textured sleeve, a slight tearing at the top, a store sticker and what could be a minor razorblade mark (that doesn't show in the pictures, only shows in a glare) on the back. Front is just about perfect with a nice gloss to it. May have some very slight marks that only show when viewed in a glare.
Kept in clean, smoke and pet free home. Will come in heavy cardboard mailer and stored in plastic cover. When played side by side with my unplayed copy, there was almost no difference in sound quality; one good test is the slight flange on the hi-hat during 'Prayers for Rain' can still be heard clearly on this copy. As an LP collector I believe it's priced at a very fair market value.
[Inner Sleeve is VG-] There were slight tears on the inner sleeve, which have been repaired with very thin line of clear tape; otherwise it's perfect; no folds or creases, looks brand new but I did have to mark it down due to the repairs: (tape is probably not noticeable unless specifically looked for).
