Description
Ultra scare 1981 US release of The Cure Happily Ever After. This is a 2-LP set of the Cure’s FAITH (1981) combined with 1980’s SEVENTEEN SECONDS.
The Cure were signed to A&M in the states and the label didn’t know what to do with them (PRE-fame Cure), so they reluctantly released both of these Fiction UK titles as a double lp, including the odd choice of graphics and “brushed” logo treatment.
This is a real Cure collectors gem, right before the label dropped them and they went on to huge statewide popularity with “Head on the door” on Electra records four years later. (Oops, A&M, you dropped the ball on these guys).
Lp are in good condition, sleeve shows some common wear but ok (this is 37 years old after all).
