The Cure ‘STANDING ON A BEACH’ LP – 1978-85 Singles EX+/VG+

GOTH ROCK POST PUNK NEW WAVE

 

Here is an EXCELLENT early pressing of the Cure’s “Standing on a Beach” vinyl record. 

 

Vinyl record is in EX+ condition – great gloss, no scratches or marks. Sounds perfect and clean.

 

The GATEFOLD cover is in VG+ condition with no split seams and is very clean. There are some light “droplet” marks on the front top left (I tried to get a picture of it – please see photos). Small amount of ring wear on the back top (see pics). But over all, the cover is in great shape with crisp corners & edges. Also includes original insert in great shape (insert has a small spit seam on the side).

This vinyl edition is a collection of all thirteen of The Cure's commercially released singles up to that point in chronological order by The Cure in May 1986, marking a decade since the band's founding in 1976. The album's title is taken from the opening lyrics of The Cure's debut single "Killing an Arab".  The album's singles span from 1978 to 1985.
