Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: The Cure – The Cure S/T – RARE Original Double Vinyl LP album from 2004.
Polite Note: NO buy it now’s or offers accepted. Auction only. NO price reductions.
Vinyl Condition: VG (Records are in lovely condition. There are some light surface marks/scuffs on side “C” but these are very light and do not affect the play at all and are only cosmetic. This is the only reason for the downgrade. Apart from that the records are in lovely condition. Both records play beautifully with nice sound. Some very light crackle but no sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: G (Original generic plain white inners have spotting/foxing marks from storage but are otherwise ok. Of course the records have been placed in new polylined inners to keep them tidy).
Outer Sleeve Condition: VG/EX (Lovely condition. Some very slight yellowing from age around the top edge but overall lovely shape).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
