The Cure - Wish
Original 1982 Double Vinyl LP
A1 B1 C1 D1 Matrix
Vinyl is in very good VG+ condition, with only very light surface scuffs and marks. I have just played it all the way through (what an album!!) - and it played spot on with just minimal crackle between tracks. That said I would recommend a deep clean to get the best out of it.
The labels are clean and unmarked. With minimal spindle marks (which you really have to look for).
The inner sleeves are likewise in excellent condition with no splits, tears or writing. The LP still has its original promotional insert, likewise in excellent condition.
The LP is sadly let down by the cover which is in Good G condition. It suffers from noticeable ring wear and scuffs along the edges, including a short split along the spine, where it looks like a cat has confused it for a scratching post. That said, it is complete and the spine readable. It hasn’t come unglued and there is no writing or serious tears etc. It retains the original sticker but has gained a later one which someone tried to remove but gave up on after realising that doing so would damage the cover further
All in all this is a very good original copy of this awesome album, perhaps a good playing copy that you don’t have to be too precious about.
The album will be very securely packed with stiffeners to ensure no damage occurs in transit.
