Up for bids is a VG+ or better condition, original 1971 Pittman Pressing  JACKET ONLY of  The Doors  ????  L.A. Woman ????  2 color Burgundy & Black Jacket, with rounded corners & Raised Letters / Embossed "Doors" text in White. The front has a die cut-out see through window with clear acetate with the band photo printed in black half-tone ???? The yellow rounded corner inner sleeve provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the Jacket. The back of the inner sleeve has a black-printed 'crucifix' image supposedly to be Jim Morrison hanging on a telephone pole  ????  The jacket alone is well worth the low starting price and would be a great replacement for your beater copy.
Because the original LP included does NOT live up to my standards of selling Vinyl LP's on eBay (I don't list any record that play grades lower than VG unless it it extremely rare), I am listing this for the original Die Cut / Window Jacket & Inner Sleeve ONLY.  Consider the original A-1 LP a Freebie that goes along with the nice Jacket.
To make this deal better, I'm also adding a Freebie CD-R repro copy of the complete original L.A. Woman album with 50+ additional minutes of The Best Of The Rest of The Doors songs. Taken from HQ Japan sources so you can enjoy this ICONIC album in the car or on the move anywhere. The CD-R is a "bonus" to my valued customers, not to be considered part of the value of this listing.
For info ONLY:  This LP playback grades at VG-  There are visible moderate hairlines and scratches and audible pops in the intros with surface noise and ticks throughout. Side 2 plays a bit cleaner.  This is NOT even a VG+ copy of this LP...so I'm just throwing it in. A nice filler for a Doors Lover in need a fairly clean copy of the desirable die cut / see thru jacket and original inner sleeve

M            Record is still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap without any defects.

NM         Record looks close to new with no marks

EX          Record May have a few light scuffs or very light scratches which should not affect sound quality

VG+        Record may have a few scuffs or light scratches which may result in some minor surface noise during play

VG          Record has clear wear on the surface. Surface noise may be present, including pops and crackles but the record should play through nicely without any skips

Jacket / Picture Sleeve Grading:  

M            Record is still sealed in the original factory shrink wrap without any defects to the jacket or picture sleeve

NM         Cover looks close to new with virtually no signs of wear.   Most records in this category are still in the original (opened) shrink wrap.

EX          Cover has some slight wear but is still in excellent condition overall.  All seams are intact.

VG+        Cover has signs of wear like scuffing, ring wear, writing or price tags.  All seams are intact.

VG          Cover suffers from corner dings, folding, significant scuffing, spine splits, and/or discoloration.
