The DOORS – “STRANGE DAYS”…LP…(Elektra, EKS-74014)…original 1967 Australian FIRST pressing on gold labels, complete with ALL the specific tell-tale signs of the first pressing - which include:

COVER: flipback cover with BLACK flaps on the back

---‘PRINTED IN AUSTRALIA’ boomerang logo on bottom flap

---gold and black ‘STEREO’ sticker on front

---thin spine

---thick black line, and evidence of murky, previously-attempted, crossing-out beneath it (all part of the printed artwork, by the way), below the production credits (just above the bottom flap)

LABELS: song titles are in italics

---has the publisher name (Astor Control) in upright, upper case letters, between two black bars, on each label, to the left of the centre-hole

---album title in larger font than band name

And that's it.

…It's in beautiful condition!...this cover was SO prone to ringwear and bad crinkling…this particular one has NO ringwear and a VERY VERY MINOR couple of crinkles (it’s by far the best cover I’ve seen for MANY years)…
