Carrying on with the spring clean, and the fact that buying Kate Bush tickets has left me a bit skint. Anyway...
Fantastic copy of The Damned's debut and Punk-Rock classic 'New Rose'. This is the first issue from 1976 in excellent condition.
I picked-up a bunch of Stiff's from a fellow record collector a few years ago and this is one of them.
The record is in excellent condition and sounds flippin' fantastic! The 45 has the rigged edge around the label and push-out centre. The B-side 'Help' has a 'NOT FOR SALE PROMOTION COPY ONLY.' sticker across the label. There's only a couple of visible spindle marks on either side.
Matrices: Side A: BUY 6 A-1U (machine stamped) / A BILBO BOPPA! (hand scratched) / "IS THIS A RECORD?" (hand scratched) Side B: BUY 6 B-1U (machine stamped) / A - BILBO - MASTER ROOM. (hand scratched) / DAMNED BEATLES (hand scratched)
The sleeve is also in excellent condition. The left flipback displays Delga along the centre. There is a very tiny tear of about 5mm along the left but nothing too drastic. All corners are crisp.
A really, really nice copy in all.
