Description

The original  Damned Dodgy Demo brand new and unplayed. 
In its original white paper sleeve, blue on white label. Label: Dodgy Demo Co.   Catalogue number: SGS 105 (scratched in the vinyl where the matrix number usually is + A1 on the A-side  and  B1 on the B-side)
 Side A:  Love Song [Vocals: Dave Vanian]  Side B:  Burglar [Vocals: Rat Scabies]   Bass: Algy Ward    Drums: Rat Scabies    Guitar: Captain Sensible  Release date: 23/12/1978
 The Damned Dodgy Demo is a promo which was given away at gigs. 250 copies were given away free at The Damned's Electric Ballroom gig (23/12/78), another 250 copies given away free at The Damned's Croydon Greyhound gig (14/1/79).  The remainder were sold by mail order through a small classified ad placed in one of the music papers (Sounds) by The Damned’s then manager, who happens to be me. So you can be sure of the provenance of this item, which I will supply with a certificate of authentication signed by me.
