The Dark Side Of The Moon, Pink Floyd. 1st UK Pressing, Solid Blue Triangle.

Matrix Numbers, Side One: SHVL 804 A-2  GGL. Side Two: SHVL 804 B-2, followed by what looks like GRA (this is unclear).

I don`t think I need to stress how rare this pressing is, but to find a first pressing with the vinyl in such awesome condition after 39 years is very rare indeed !! I don`t claim to be an expert record grader, but I would be quite confident in calling this "excellent" vinyl. In the light it shines like polished black glass. I only detected one small virtually imperceptible surface scuff on side two which doesn`t affect play. Light minimal background crackle detected on quieter passages consistent with vinyl of this age.

The insert stickers are attached to the cover as shown in the photos, no posters. The cover is in excellent condition with minimal scuffing to spine and corners. I played the record through Panasonic headphones before writing this, and was amazed at the sound quality for the age of the vinyl. No jumps, clicks or pops, plays through fine from beginning to end.

A highly desirable first pressing of Floyd`s legendary classic album!
