The Darkness Mesa Boogie Stunt Amp

	£		140
	$		186

Description

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Dummy Head. This head was used by Justin Hawkins (formerly of the Darkness) on stages all over the world.

**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BIDDING- This is not a fully functioning Mesa Boogie amp head. There are no valves, components or any other circuitry inside the chassis. It is not broken, in need of repair etc. It does not make a noise of any kind, no matter what you plug into it. It is merely a prop that was used onstage to make the guitar stacks 'look right' hence the power light comes on but that is all it does. Please do not bid, win the auction and claim that you didn't know it was not a working amp head. Thank you.

Here's a unique chance to own a piece of UK rock history. Mesa Boogie made these dummy heads for the band The Darkness in 2003. If you have seen the band live since, then this is one of the amps you will have seen behind Justin Hawkins. It doesn't do anything but is very collectable for obvious reasons. Check the photo here- http://www.mesaboogie.com/gallery_artist/art_gall.php?id=403 The vinyl has a small tear on one side but is otherwise in good condition.

Please note, the flightcase is NOT included and is only in the photo for context. Bidders with feedback rating of less than 10, please contact me before bidding. Bidders who ignore this will have their bids removed with no notice- sorry about that but psycho fans have deliberately ruined auctions in the past.

Good luck!
