Details:
Columbia 33SX 1736. Original 1965 release. Matrix / Runout (Side 1, runout): XAX 2882-1. Matrix / Runout (Side 2, runout): XAX 2883-1.
Not XAX 2882-1 A 1 and XAX 2883-1 O 1 as specified on Discogs. If there is an A 1 on the side 1 runout, or an O 1 on side 2 runout, I can't find them.
Condition:
The front of the sleeve has minor ringwear, light creasing, some fading along the left and bottom edge and a bit of wear to the opening edge. The back of the sleeve is a bit grubby along the opening edge, which also has some wear. There are no splits or writing.
The inner sleeve has minor creasing and ringwear and has a 4 inch split on one side.
The LP labels are clean and free of any writing. The LP has several surface marks and surface scratches on both sides. I have cleaned it, but it would probably benefit with a professional clean. I have play tested it. There are no skips or jumps. Low level surface noise is evident during the quieter sections of the music and between tracks and there is the occasional crackle or pop here and there, most noticeably 3-4 pops at the beginning of track 1 on side 2. Despite this, it sounds pretty good for a 56 year record in my opinion.
Please note that I have not graded this LP in accordance with record collector guidelines. I am not a record dealer. Despite all the imperfections I have described, in my opinion the outer and inner sleeves and LP are all in VG condition, considering it is is 56 years old. If you require a record in mint or excellent condition, this copy is not for you.
