Description
The Dead Milkmen's "Giant Lizard In My Backyard" in great condition with wax that is very close to mint, if not mint. The jacket has a corner dent that you can see in the pics and some attachment of matter on the upper center back which can also be seen in the pics. There is no lyric sheet, but the LP comes in a plastic sleeve which seems to have done it's job admirably. The vinyl is beautiful. I'd forgotten how good it was until I took it out last night to photograph it. Not a scratch on it and looks like it did the day it was opened. If you want to hear a snippet, I'd be happy to record one and send a link. That's more work for me, but if it makes you happy, I'll do it.
My grading scale is visual and auditory unless otherwise noted.

Vinyl=wait, this LP is how old and it looks like this? Do you have a DeLorean and a friend named Doc who takes you record shopping in the mid 80's?
Basically the record is mint- and only gets the minus because no record is "mint" to my mind. My Beastie Boys "Paul's Boutique" reissue was new and came with some surface scratches, but had I not opened it, I'd say it was mint. Played like mint, looked like mint-. The jacket is excellent and shines like a new dime. That being said, please expect a very nice record with a nice jacket that will play nicely and look good until you mess it up drunkenly playing it at 4 a.m. trying to get some action.
I've been told I've got too many records. Well, too many records for the size of our house. If we lived in a warehouse, I'd be fine, but we don't. I've sold a few records on eBay and now I'm about to sell a lot more. However, I'm going to consider this my first real record selling endeavor and I hope to have an inventory of at least ten records at any given time. For right now though, I'm starting with some that are classics and need to find a better home. And by better, I mean they'll get listened to. My criteria for a record to be sold on eBay will be very picky regarding the quality of the vinyl. Any wax I list will be clean, without scratches, have minimal bonus sounds like pops, and will grade excellent or better. The jackets may have some dings, dents, bends, etc., but I'll describe those and take pics of the issues. I want to sell great listenable copies of coveted awesome records, not collectors copies that will never see a table. That's my plan and this Dead Milkmen LP is my first. Next up will be Black Sabbath Master of Reality.
I've not been well for the past few weeks. I had a TIA stroke, my second it turns out, and it really messed me up. I'm a young guy with a brand new daughter and this has freaked me out. Any sales I've made over the past month have been a mess. My wife has helped me get in order and I hope everyone will understand that I may not be perfect, but I'd never harm another member of eBay.
