UK 1st Pressing DOORS Double Album Was Pressed In Stereo And Vinyl Is In Excellent Condition
The Doors: Ray Manzarek (vocals, bass, organ); Jim Morrison (vocals); Robby Krieger (guitar); John Densmore (drums).Producers: Bruce Botnick, Paul Rothchild, The Doors. Recorded live between August 1969 & July 1970 at various locations on The Doors' United States Tour. This album shows off The Doors' strengths as a live band and the way in which they simultaneously challenged their audiences and kept sets interesting by including a broad cross-section of music. Where else could you hear Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love" sidling up next to Kurt Weill's "Alabama Song?" Absolutely Live was taped during a United State tour that took place between August 1969 and June 1970 and showed the band to be in peak form. Ray Manzarek's organ and John Densmore's drumming keep pace throughout as Robbie Krieger's guitar playing show him to be as much of a force in the Doors as Morrison. As for the Lizard King, his blues growl is put to perfect use on "Backdoor Man" whereas his inner poet takes over on the prophetic "When The Music's Over" and the jazzy, metaphysical "Universal Mind."
Absolutely Live is the first Live Album released by American Rock band The doors in July 1970. Many shows were recorded during the 1970 tour to create the Absolutely Live album. The Doors' producer and longtime collaborator Paul rothchild painstakingly edited the album from many different shows to create one cohesive concert. For example, the best part of a song from the Detroit show may have been spliced together with another part of the same song from the Boston show, trying to create "the ultimate concert." Rothchild has said, "I couldn't get complete takes of a lot of songs, so sometimes I'd cut from Detroit to Philadelphia in mid-song. There must be 2,000 edits on that album."

Records: Excellent
Records are in Excellent Condition, As Far As Sound Is Concerned, The Records play Excellent with No Jumps or Loud Clicks, There is Some Very Light Crackle in The Quieter Parts, But Nothing Else and Nothing Detrimental To The Listening Pleasure, All in all an Excellent Playable pair of Records. Visually the Records are Excellent with no marks or scratches, just Light hairlines caused by removal from the Sleeves over the years.
