Vinyl Grade: Near Mint

There are no spindle marks on Side 1 label, and one spindle mark on Side 2 label, which is the mark left by the RTI manufacturing process when the LP is ejected from the pressing machine and the label slides across the spindle to the center hole before sliding down onto the stack of records pressed before it.  Please see close-up photos, and search Google for "ControlRecordGuide visits RTI Record Pressing Plant" to see a youtube video that shows what I mean about the RTI pressing facility typically leaving one "spindle mark" on one label of the records they press (see the video at the 1:00 mark specifically).

Cover Grade:  Near Mint.  Purchased new, comes with the original outer plastic cover with the gold foil "DCC 180g" sticker on front.   Also has the gold foil Limited Edition No. 1019 on the back in the upper right-hand corner.

Notes: Mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray for the DCC audiophile label back in 1998, this is one of the great ones.  The best this album is going to sound.

Packaging (non-gatefold): The album will be placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, sealed, then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads and carefully taped together.  I have used this method for many years to practically eliminate seam splits while still protecting the LP inside the cover.  I will gladly package the LPs outside the cover upon request.  The album, after being “sandwiched” between the two pieces of cardboard, is then packaged with bubble-wrap and Styrofoam peanuts in an oversize box.  The box is large enough that it should easily withstand even being dropped directly on its corner without damaging the cover inside.  I know very well what it is like to receive poorly packaged records, so I am careful to make sure your album is safely packaged and arrives safely.

Packaging (gatefold): Albums with gatefold covers will have the LP secured outside the cover, between the front and back covers of the gatefold, in order to eliminate the possibility of seam splits and still protect the LP.  The cover will then be placed inside a clear poly outer protective album cover and sealed.  The album is then carefully centered and “sandwiched” between two oversized cardboard reinforcement pads, which are then carefully taped together, to prevent the album (and LP) from sliding up and down or side to side during transit.  This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners from dings.  It is hard to describe, but you will understand when you see it.

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

No Return Policy:  This collectible LP is long out of print, not replaceable, in top condition and fragile by nature.  I have packaged many hundreds of valuable record LPs over the years, but most people have not, and it's not an easy thing to do properly.  When I have accepted returns in the past, both times (yes, I've had two albums returned in the last 14 years) they arrived with damage to the cover.  I realize it's not intentional, but it happens.  One trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing.  As always, if there is a problem with the album itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), just let me know, I am a reasonable person and eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect.  Of course if the album is damaged during transit please let me know immediately and SAVE the packaging because it is needed for the Insurance claim.  We will get the Insurance claim filed right away and process your refund as quickly as possible.  Please check my feedback, you will see that I only offer top quality record albums and my customers are happy!

Weight Limit of 4 Lbs. for International First Class Mail:  Please note that First Class International Mail has a 4 Lb. weight limit.  If you make multiple purchases and the combined weight is over the 4 Lb. weight limit we will have to use two separate First Class International packages or use Priority Mail International.  If your combined total is over 4 Lbs. then I will contact you about the shipping (one package vs. two), but the shipping cost should be basically the same.
