Description

The Doors - L.A. Woman - 1971 US First Pressing, Pitman - Strong Vg+ Condition

ARTIST: The Doors

TITLE: L.A. Woman

LABEL: CBS Elektra Records

NUMBER: EKS-75011

MONO/STEREO: Stereo

SPECIAL PRESSING INFO: 1971 US First Pressing; Pitman Pressing

GRADE (Sleeve): Vg

GRADE (RECORD): Vg+

Condition Detail:

The sleeve has seen better days, but overall still holding up well with most of the damage near the window cutout and front covers edges. A very close Vg+ but the gashes near the window are a little to severe for me to comfortably call this a Vg+ sleeve. Still has the original hype sticker attached to the sleeve, there is pretty serious damage to it but still a nice extra. The Vinyl is in great shape with a few very light scratches on both sides, nothing that effected playback, a very nice and playable copy.

Purchased at estate sale. Record cleaned with VPI HW27 Typhoon before grading, sleeved with archival liner and shipped using Bags Unlimited Mighty Mailers.

Played with a AT12S Shibata with NAD pre into anaragon 8008 with PSB Stratus Goldi speakers. A detailed and visceral testing system.

We generally undergrade our records due to how detailed the stylus is. Small noise on our system will probably not replicate on a conical

or elliptical stylus.

This is sold as is. Please look at all info and ask any questions you have before you purchase.

Thank you.
