Description
DESCRIPTION:
The debut album from The Doors became a certified gold record on 9/11/67, very shortly before the mono pressings of the LP were discontinued. This means that mono copies of the LP with the RIAA gold record emblem on the cover were issued in VERY SMALL numbers, and are the RAREST examples of this landmark LP!
CONDITION:
Cover is VG with moderate overall wear and no splits. "Mono" on front, back & spine. There is one corner bend and a name written almost invisibly at top front. Disc is VG- with heavy wear and numerous scratches. Labels are EX with name written on Side 1. Original gold Elektra inner sleeve is NM with no splits.
