Description

An original 1st press of 'Morrison Hotel' on the UK Elektra label from 1970. Matrix A1/B1. Labels are consistent with 1st press. The heavy set vinyl come housed in an original gatefold cover printed by MacNeill Press. Also included is the original inner sleeve date. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Interference is minimal. All we could detect was a touch of lightest static in a couple of isolated moments. It is both a great album and a great rendition. You can't go wrong really...
Cover (Vg+) In great shape and has clearly been carefully looked after down the years. Pretty clean front and back only showing lightest handling. The interior is immaculate. There's a bit of edge wear and a bit more on the spine. Don't expect to be able to read all the text on the spine. Overall the cover retains decent rigidity and lies totally flat.
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing and no splits.
