This listing is for a Chinese pressing of the Doors second album, Strange Days.

I don't know the history of this one but believe it to be an original pressing; I have been told that these were brought back home by American soldiers who picked them up in Vietnam during the US involvement there in the late sixties. What ever, it's a somewhat bizarre release.

The sleeve is a paper, offset pink copy of the LP sleeve. It's wrapped around in polythene and this polythene goes around into the sleeve itself to form the inner sleeve. The rear sleeve looks like a cut and paste. It's had the top left corner clipped - see picture.

The record label shows that the pressing is by World Record with Chinese script. Somewhat incredibly, this is on orange vinyl.

I have never played this so can't vouch for the playback quality. However, treat this as a curio rather than an audiophile revelation.
