This 2009 U.S. 180g Elektra pressing is a particularly nice modern edition. The lacquers were cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering under the direct supervision of Bruce Botnick and Jac Holzman, giving this reissue a real pedigree rather than making it just another catalog repress.
It also recreates the feel of the original stereo issue, right down to the vintage-style Elektra presentation. If you want Strange Days on heavyweight vinyl without hunting down a fragile 1967 original, this is exactly the kind of pressing to own.
