Description
The rarest album in the Doors inventory. When this album was released in 1968 most record companies, including Elektra, were doing away with mono in favor of stereo. From what I've been told only about 500 or so copies of this album were pressed in MONO. Hard to believe if any, in great condition, have survived for the last 42 years. This album is one of those survivors and it is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. The cover grades out to VG+ with just a little wear showing. The labels on the album are in mint condition with no spindle marks showing. The vinyl does have very light slide lines that do not effect play. There is some slight groove wear which does not effect play what-so-ever. Just played it on my system and it plays great. ALMOST MINT with no noticible noise even between songs and in the quiet passages. The vinyl grades out to VG+.
Gonna start the album at $99.00 and see what happens. Will be putting more rare records on Ebay in the following months. Am getting old and changing interests. There will some bargains to be gained by the astute collector in the next few months.
