Description
The Doors Waiting For The Sun 1968 Orig Gatefold UK Mono EKL 4024
Gatefold sleeve Mono EKL 4024 A1/B1
Please read the desciption below and see photos. This record is not in Mint or Excellent + condition and shows signs of having been played frequently. Saying that it is in great condition for its age and is a great LP. The Unknown Soldier is a superb track
Gatefold Sleeve: VG : there are signs of age and storage wear, particularly around edges. The inner gatefold surface is a little grubby. No writing or tears. Bottom of sleeve starting to become ungummed which is easily rectified.
Label: VG : orange Elektra label. Looks clean but when tilted under a strong light there are numerous spindle marks. No writing on label
Vinyl: VG+ : Visually, the vinyl has a nice clean shiny sheen; though when tilted in strong light the vinyl shows many hairlines and small marks indicating that the record has been played quite a few times. None of the marks are feelable. I have played the vinyl on my REGA and to my ears the vinyl plays to at least a VG+ standard. However, in a few sections there are low levels of background crackle. The record plays through without any skips or jumps.
