1967 Elektra # EKS-4007- MONO- The Doors self titled debut
PRISTINE COPY OF HARD TO FIND GOLD LABEL. Sounds fantastic in MONO.
RECORD: PLAY GRADED VG++ looks unplayed (one hairline on cut 3 side 2 produces a few soft ticks) Soft crackle in between cuts that virtually disappears when the tunes start. Last cut on LP "The End" had a couple of ticks in the play that, upon very close inspection appear to be tiny pressing bubbles. This in no way diminishes the listening pleasure of one of the all time great albums of the 1960's.
COVER: VG+ to VG++ soft ring/ shelf wear/ no splits no writing original inner sleeve
This recording is part of a large private collection that is over 40 years old and has been well taken care of. According to the owner, most of these records have not been played since their purchase, and only in order to be transferred onto a reel to reel tape deck.
