Relativity Records catalog # 88561-8123-1, stereo, copyright 1986.
A very clean US issue of Factory Records band The Durutti Column's 2 LP compilation, "Valuable Passages". Vini Reilly is the man behind this post-punk band from the UK, writing and performing on all the tracks, with occasional additional musicians. Trouser Press has this to say about the band:
"...evocative guitar instrumentals, often multi-tracked and backed with environmental, synthetic, and studio created percussive effects. Although occasionally reminiscent of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells and some of the Frippertronics recordings, Reilly pretty much createds his own style - a gentle, uncluttered amalgam of acoustic and electric guitar textures."
Vinyl is in Near-Mint Minus condition. Play surfaces are very clean and quiet, but there are a few very light sleeve marks on two of the four sides.
Sleeve and original inner sleeves are NM- also, with no writing or split seams, and just a hint of handling wear.
