Year and Chart Position: 1965 #1
A rare opportunity to acquire a STEREO vinyl recording of this superb American album. This version is on the American CAPITOL LIME GREEN label dating from 1969 - 1971
The matrix numbers on each run out groove are as follows....
Side 1 - ST1 2300 A3 Side 2 - ST2 2309 A3
Other markings that may or may not be mothers and stampers in the playout zones on each side are as follows.....
Side 1 1 Side 2 2
Vinyl Condition: Very Good. A few faint stylus marks but nothing serious.
Audibly, I would grade it as Very Good+ to Excellent- . Nice sound and a very low amount of pops and crackles between tracks.
Sleeve: Can only grade as Fair. As you can see in the photo's, the spine is completely split, the bottom seam is spit 75% across from the Lp entrance and the top seam is split at both ends. BUT.... so far, the cover is still in one piece...just... so is still doing its job. There is also some ink writing on the back cover.
Inner Sleeve: A paper sleeve with two vinyl slits. Therefore, once again, only Fair condition.
All in all, you have a really good quality disc which is sadly housed in a very below standard cover.
