This item is a new, still-sealed and mint vinyl LP pressing of the album entitled The Early Beatles, by the Beatles. The shrink is 100% intact with no tears. This album was originally released in 1964 by Capitol Records in the US, but this is a re-issue pressing. This album, which does not exist in the UK catalog but was concocted by Capitol for the US market, collected a number of their earliest singles and album tracks from the UK Please Please Me album. It was, in this sense, the gap filler for American fans of the band. This album was not part of the British catalog, as it was unique to the American market. With the switch to the original UK configurations of the catalog albums here in the US, this title is now out of print in this configuration and under this title, which makes it increasingly harder to find in this condition. Since this is sealed I have no way of knowing which label is inside so it could be Capitol color band, Apple, Capitol purple or orange?? My own opinion is that this is an Apple label but again I have no way of knowing.
