Up for sale is one(1) The Edgar Winter - Group They Only Come Out At Night LP from 1972 on Epic Records (#KE 31584). Still in the original SHRINK with the original Hype Sticker.
This LP features the big hits Free Ride and Frankenstein. Edgar Winter, is of course, the younger brother of guitar god, the late Johnny Winter.
GOOD LUCK FINDING A COPY IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP AS PEOPLE USUALLY RIP THESE OPEN TO SEE THE GATEFOLD.
The vinyl is in very good condition but has some surface marks that WILL cause surface noise and you WILL hear pops or clicks along the way. Nice fairly clean orange labels with some spindle marks.
The gatefold cover is still in the original shrinkwrap with the original hype sticker and is in very good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, corner dings, scrapes, white fade spots, a few crumples, and ring wear. There are no split seams. The original price sticker was partially covering the hype sticker, but has since peeled away leaving a small residue spot. The rest of it may come off with some elbow grease, but I am leaving it as-is.
I obtained this LP in the late 1970's or early 1980's. It was played many times back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since. I recently played this LP and it sounds great.
