Description
The Elegants of Tacoma WA were a popular band from 1962-1965. This is a Mis-Labeled 45 on Malamute. Jerry Miller of Moby Grape plays guitar on this record. Jerry Miller passed away last Sunday. He was one of the top 100 Guitarists of all time.
Originally Jeff had a box of these 45's he got years ago from Roger Freiheit who told him the story. This is the last one we have other than one he is keeping that Jerry signed. 45 is unplayed.
When Roger Freiheit got the 45's pressed they came back mis-labeled as Larry Beck on Malamute. They sent him new labels to paste over the incorrect labels. The new labels had small holes and hard to see blue print. Eventually they were pressed with the correct labels however they still only had The Elegants name on one side. Roger gave up at that point. This is one of the originals. It includes the small hole label replacements that have light handling wear.
