The Islanders consisted of Randy Starr (Warren Nadel ) on guitar / whistling & Frank Metis on the accordion. Their 1960 Mayflower Records L/P release, THE ENCHANTED SOUND OF THE ISLANDERS contained, not only "Blue Rain", but their only hit, "The Enchanted Sea", which reached #10 on the Billboard Honor Roll of Hits list. "The Islanders" , was simply a studio name and something the two never performed publicly as. Randy Starr (aka Warren Nadel) was from the Bronx section of New York City..
Conditions: Cover 7 or Ex medium gloss front, discolorization on back, heavy cardboard/Record 8- or EX beautiful black and shiny with just a few sleeve rubs, heavy vinyl.
