You are bidding on this Ultra Rare original PROMO 45 by The Esquires entitled "It's A Dirty Shame" b/w "Love Hides A Multitude Of Sins" on Columbia Records 4-43815 from 1966, U.S.A. pressing.
Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, this phenominal Canadian garage band recorded this 45 to help them promote their existing Canadian career in the US market. They had already recorded a self titled Capitol Lp release in 1965.
To attract a greater audience to their ever changing and growing approach in music, they decided to record some totally amazing killer garage tracks as standard issues.
The A-side of "It's A Dirty Shame" on this ultra rare promo immediately rockets into raunchy killer tight garage raw vocal chords with hot sizzling electric fuzz guitar strokes and pounding harmonics blended in with wild drum beats that only Ricky Patterson could achieve.
The B-side "Love Hides A Multitude Of Sins" is a winding and hypnotizing raw edged psychedelic track with heavy hip vocals and renowned drum back beats.
A really exciting garage 45 that is in true mint condition!
