The Farm Band S/T - Original 1972 Release on Mantra Records - Mantra 777 on Vinyl W/ Poster. *Play-Tested*
This auction is for the S/T LP by The Farm Band. This is the 1972 original, released on Mantra Records.
The gatefold is in Excellent condition, still in the shrink wrap. There is one worn corner which can be seen in pic #2. There are No Splits or tears.
The album comes with the original poster and it is in like new condition. The poster can be seen in Pic #4.
Vinyl visually grades in Vg+ to Vg++ (Ex-) condition. There is a brown discoloration on side one track one. It looks like a splatter, I could not clean it off.
The record sleeves are original and are in VG++ condition. There is a 3/4s of an inch split in the bottom of sleeve one. Sleeve two is structurally complete.
The records play tested well, with full dynamics all the way through. The 1st track has a couple loud crackles at the beginning than smooths out and sounds great. Side 4 is opposite side 1 on this record, and it has the only moderate pops that I noticed. They can be heard at the end of the last song as the record is ending, lasting about 10 to 12 seconds. I heard some very occasional light surface noise here and there but nothing that repeats annoyingly. NO Skips or Annoying repetitive surface noise, really nice records.
The records were cleaned in a Spin Clean Record Cleaner.
