The Fascinators - "You're To Blame" / "Revived"

Trans Atlas Records  (Release year 1962)

When Johnny & The Hurricanes broke contract with Warwick over royalty disputes, they signed to Bigtop Records.  Fighting amongst the original band caused so much friction, that the Hurricanes completely broke away from Johnny Paris and their management team, and hired on a new sax player to replace Johnny and continue to tour as "The Hurricanes".  When threatened by legal action to drop the name "Hurricanes", they renamed the group The Fascinators, led by Paul Tesluk the original organist.  They went back to Morty Craft (of Warwick Records) to see about working out a new deal.  Craft, who got burned by J&H's management team, was more than happy to oblige and took The Fascinators into the recording studios to cut a session of four songs and release them on his new label Trans Atlas.  The Fascinators' sound matches spot on with Johnny & The Hurricanes' hit sound as it features 4 of the 5 members of J&H.  This record is a nice addition to any one's J&H collection.
