Description

Very good record, but the quest for useful info on it has driven me nuts. The best I can do is that it seems to have been produced by Tony Sepe of Laurel Records notoriety (label says "A Sepe/Brooks Production")--so I'm assuming these Five Bosses were from Brooklyn or thereabouts. There have been a bunch of small labels called Unity, so that doesn't help. In any case, excellent vocals. One side is a catchy r&b number; the other is near-bluesy doo-wop. Condition is a strong VG+ with light and minimal wear. There is an inaudible surface mark on side B. There's also some light writing on one of the labels: "Thanks, Bert," or something like that--probably someone connected with the record.
