Description
Extremely Rare! The Five Emeralds do the song Pleasure Me. It is 2 minutes and 45 seconds long and came out in 1954. The flip side is Darling. Produced by State Recording Co. in Ferndale, Michigan (just outside Detroit) . It is a 7" and is a 45 rpm speed. It is a U.S. release on Detroit's S.R.C. Records, blue label with silver logo and print. This has the periods between the SRC letters. Vinyl is in VG condition. Still has some gloss left. It has some uniform background noise but the music is still great and there are no major pops or skips. It has minor, superficial scuffs, but no significant or deep scratches. The label would fall in the VG+ category and some might say better, with very minor wear and no stickers or writing. It is S.R.C. Records # 107. This is great Michigan Doo Wop/ early soul music! Considering what the book value is and what their other single went for on ebay last week, I'm starting it at a low minimum bid with no reserve. I believe this is the more difficult of their two singles on S.R.C. to find. Good luck and check out my other Michigan related items this week!
